管道内窥镜一般由控制器、升降台、摄像头、电缆、爬行器、照明几部分组成，遥控升降台调节摄像头的高度，爬行器可以穿越障碍物、自如转弯，遥控离合器可释放车轮收回爬行器。可配置无盲区旋转镜头或轴向固定彩色镜头，摄像头摄像并记录管道状况，并可携带其他检测装置对管道内部进行检测。
